This training and development initiative offers structured mentorship, workshops, and hands-on experience for aspiring lawyers and paralegals. Our junior paralegals play a vital role in this mission. We actively encourage Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs) and local charities to reach out to us on behalf of clients in vulnerable situations. We will never turn a client away and will always do our best to ensure they receive the support they need.

At Family First Lawyers, we are committed to supporting those who fall through the gaps. Many of our clients do not qualify for legal aid but cannot afford private legal representation. We understand how overwhelming it can be to face domestic abuse, child contact issues, or family breakdown without help, especially after being let down or dismissed by the systems that are meant to protect you.
We provide a limited number of pro bono places for individuals and families who are in urgent need of legal support. These are prioritised for cases involving immediate risk to personal safety, emotional harm, or the welfare of children. We aim to ensure that those facing serious challenges are not left without guidance and protection.
Our team is made up of experienced, culturally aware legal professionals who are passionate about justice and early intervention. We work with sensitivity and respect for your background, circumstances, and concerns. We are here to help you feel heard, protected, and informed from the moment you contact us.
