Lasting Support is an independent family support non-profit working with children, young people and their families who have lived through trauma, exploitation and harm. They offer therapy and whole-family support in warm community settings rather than clinical ones, and families see the same therapists week after week. That matters because too many families are frightened of the very services meant to protect them, and therapy is often too expensive, too clinical or too culturally distant to reach the people who need it most.
Lasting Support Foundation is a frontline safeguarding organisation specialising in complex safeguarding and emerging risks, from exploitation and online harm to radicalisation and family breakdown. They deliver therapeutic services, community support, consultancy and professional training, working with children, young people and their families as a whole rather than in isolation.
Their work sits at the difficult intersection of trauma, safeguarding and systems. Many of the families they reach are ones who fear or avoid statutory services, or who have already been failed by them. Every service they run is delivered in welcoming community settings, with the same therapists week after week, so that trust has room to build and progress holds.
They also train and advise professionals working with vulnerable families, alongside policy work that draws on frontline casework rather than theory alone.
We are proud to partner with Lasting Support Foundation as part of our access to justice scheme, connecting our clients with support that goes beyond the legal process.
THE A PROJECT
The A Project brings over 25 years' experience in conflict management, specialising in mediation and professional training. They deliver programmes and services that support both victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse, including DAPP, restorative justice, and NACCC-accredited child contact centres.
Their work sits at the difficult intersection of safety and change. Protecting those at risk and holding people accountable are not competing aims, and their programmes are built around that principle. Every service they run is safe, evidence-led and grounded in practical experience of what actually shifts behaviour.
They also train professionals who encounter domestic abuse in the course of their work, drawing directly on frontline casework rather than theory alone.
